Everyone is welcome! The Darley Art Garden is open to all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re a local artist, a keen gardener, or just someone looking to connect with others in the community, there’s a place for you here. You don’t need any special skills—just a willingness to get involved.
The garden hosts a mix of creative and hands-on activities throughout the year, including collaborative art projects, community mural painting, gardening days, and seasonal events. There are also workshops, casual drop-in sessions, and opportunities to help with maintenance and planting.
Community members can apply to use a section of the garden for growing herbs, vegetables, or flowers. Spaces are limited, so we prioritise local residents and community groups with a genuine interest in contributing to the shared space. Plots are free or low-cost, and we provide guidance if you're new to gardening. To express interest, simply get in touch with us and we’ll walk you through the process.
